Watching The Grass Grow

2016-12-15-grass-growing-snow-outside

It isn’t every day you get to watch the grass grow while snow falls and the wind-chill temperature is at -1 Fahrenheit (or -18.3333 Celsius). The grass is for our son’s guinea pigs to eat. Believe it or not, our local grocery store sells small containers of grass for pets. We found it in the produce area, right by the leaf lettuce and parsley. Looking at this grass growing in a pot reminds me that we’ll enjoy God’s springtime again.
